Our modelmaker Pierre is helping the NHS cause working alongside contacts across the country to produce laser cut medical visors for hospitals. The CAD information is being used by architectural firms globally, in a bid to help protect the front-line hospital staff dealing with COVID-19. George Elliott Hospital in Nuneaton and Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham are just a couple of the hospitals that have had a delivery from the modelmaking movement.
If anyone wants to join the movement to help medical staff but doesn’t have a 3D printer, these files are for laser cutting (or hand cutting) and have been approved by the NHS and are easy to make.
